“If you use a subwoofer, is it only connected via RCA connection or can you connect it with regular speaker wires?”

Hi. I own this product and I had the same question. You can hook a subwoofer up in 2 different ways. One way is to use the RCA subwoofer out jack which is an RCA, or you can wire your speakers wire directly to either the right or left speaker jacks. I have mine wired with my right speaker, and my subwoofer works perfectly. There is nothing in the manual or online regarding g this so I reached out to the manufacturer who informed me of these hookup choices. Hope this helps you.
