Terri, if you subscribe to 5G Wi-Fi, you may possibly have a dual band modem. Contact your internet provider to find out. If your modem is dual band, your provider can help you set up the 2.4G band to enable security devices to work. I'm speaking from experience. My provider set up a 2.4 G band with its own network name and password strictly for connecting my security cameras. With just one modem, I still access 5G for streaming, high-speed internet, and other functions unrelated to security monitoring. Good luck!
