good question TV and FM Signals love to bounce off of things. I live in a condo, you could say is a cement box with the windows facing south. Most of Boston towers/antennas are north west of me. that is why I bought a amplified antenna. If your metal building has windows, you may get a signal.

No, this product does not work inside of a metal building with a metal roof.
