What is the range of this antenna. Thank you. null

I am using in my basement. It has brought in a few local channels maybe within 30-49 miles. I had no channels without it on Fm and now have 5-6. On Am I only had WJR which is the strongest station in Michigan about 60 miles away. I now have several, although I bought it for FM.

Manual says about 40 miles.
