My stereo is in the basement also and the signal is strong on am and FM. I get all stations clearly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use mine in the basement. It does improve the signal but any weak stations will not come in crystal clear. But the other stations do come in clear. I am in NYC, don't know where you are, but my test for clarity is station 107.1, its a NJ station and does not come in down my basement with this antenna but it does come in clear upstairs on my other stereo receiver.
