• You have to occasionally move the antenna around to capture the signal to get more channels. You should rescan every few months to capture more channels.

• Yes self installed......you have too scan channels again,after you download app and follow set-up directions

• Please go to settings on your tv and scan for the channels. It should pickup nearest channels automatically. Let it complete the auto scan while you have connected the antenna. Channels should be ready to use when scan is complete.
