- Answer It displays the inventory items so you can select them. It is much like the phone app in it's appearance and how it works, with the added plus of the receipt printer being built in.

- Answer You can set it to accept payments offline, it will just run them when you are connected to internet again. Or use your phone as a hot spot.

- Answer This is great for using as a register of all sales but it is much simpler to use for credit cards than the separate scanner or swiper for a phone. Plus this one does touch free as well. I love it.

QuestionDoes this device print barcode/sku labels? Also, I have a new Lenovo Laptop; do I need an I pad or can this terminal do everything just like the Ipad or Iphone? Is there a case & what type of batteries this device uses if I want to use without adapter?

- Answer The Square Terminal does not print barcode labels and does not need a laptop or phone to work. You can print barcode labels with our Square for Retail subscription on the Square Dashboard, but that will be separate from the Square Terminal hardware. The Square Terminal has a battery that is designed to last all day and will charge while plugged into an outlet. There are no cases for the Square Terminal that Square develops, but you are welcome to check out any 3rd party cases for it!

- Answer You can order paper for the Square Terminal in our online store, or find rolls with the following dimension somewhere else: Width: 57.5 mm, Length: 29.5 ft. , Roll Diameter: 36 mm.

- Answer Cross-border card payments are unsupported. This means that card transactions attempted outside of the country where you activated your Square account can't be processed with Square.
