A wheel for this game is completely optional. I play on a normal controller and it works perfectly.

No It’s Up To Your Preference. Regular gaming controllers work just fine with this game However In My Personal Experience The Game Is More Enjoyable with the racing wheel . The Racing wheel literally places you in the driver seat and with the graphics and awesome map detail you will enjoy all the sights. The Beet Place To Get a reasonable wheel I would say Best Buy

No, this game does not require a steering wheel. On PlayStation 5 you can use the DualSense Controller or the DualSense Edge Controller to play.
