Hello Bobby, thank you for your question and interest in model # SGSXP365TS . Per the installation instructions, connect the gas supply line to the unit pressure regulator using a 1/2” flex gas line connector between manual shut-off valve and pressure regulator. Always use a new flex line.

The thread size of the gas pipe at the Cooktop is 3/8"
