The differences between the two 36" gas cooktop models (SGSXP365TS and SGSX365TS) are as follows: Model #SGSX365TS has our Star® Burners, while model #SGSXP365TS has our Patented Pedestal Star® Burners. SGSXP365TS features an easy-to-clean QuickClean Base®, raised pedestal burners make it easy to wipe each burner clean, and a progressive light ring around each knob indicates which burner is in use, as opposed to model #SGSX365TS, which does not include these features. Additionally, SGSXP365TS has a more powerful 18,000 BTU center burner compared to SGSX365TS’s 16,000 BTU center burner. We hope this information helps and thank you again for considering Thermador.
