Is this SATA compatible? null

This only works with SATA hard drives. SATA I,II,and III. So any SATA drive will work. Not sure about the new M.2 sata drives, but i would assume those are also backwards compatible. I just purchased this from the store, but it only had the USB 3.0 connection for the PC. Online it says eSATA and USB 3.0. Same SKU and model number. So if you are looking for something with eSATA connection for the PC as well, it looks like the description is incorrect.

The device itself connects via a USB 3.0 connection (backwards compatible with USB 2.0). The dock will accommodate any 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drive.

Yes: I used this unit to extract data from my SATA drive which I removed from my old computer when it completely malfunctioned. It worked flawlessly.

It is standard SATA 1/2/3 compatible. Normal SATA connectors just fit right in.

I have two Tera byte hard drives that are sata and yes they both work.

Its Compatible 3.0 / 2.0 and backwards 1.0
