“Will this work with a Linux workstation? I have a dual boot PC hat is used mostly for Linux. Will this accessory work ok if I plug it into the USB ports and try to read or write to it? I know regular flash drives work fine.”

As long as the drive you put into the device is formatted in a Linux compatible format, yes it will.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no difference that USB flash drive. A generic storage controller that Linux uses should be sufficient. If your USB drivers are installed, you would mount this just like any other external storage. Just remember that you have to unmount before popping out the drives. Even though this says hot-swap, i always unmount drives before removing them.
