“need to know wiring configuration, this is going to be adapted for 3D printer power supply I see black, red and yellow wires. would prefer not to experiment to find out what does what. A wiring diagram or schematic for fan would be great.”

the red wire is to be connected to close 12 volts DC, the black wire is ground, and the yellow wire is a tachometer output from the fan which tells the computer how fast the fan is turning.
