“Does anything prevent the camera from running the battery down in park mode if this is hard wired to the fuse box?”

• Hi there, All Thinkware dash cams have a built-in voltmeter and timer to prevent car battery drainage. The dash cam monitors the car battery voltage level using the built-in voltmeter and shuts itself down if the detected voltage level is below the customizable voltage threshold. The timer works similarly, where the dash cam shuts itself down after a predetermined time period in Parking Mode. Both these features can be found in the "Record Settings". • Yes....You can a adjust the voltage thru settings in the dash camera to shut down if it reaches a certain voltage ..... Diffently a cool feature I must say....

• You can set the camera to sense low voltage and it will shut off

• There are settings in the camera that you can turn on and adjust to turn the camera off while in the parked mode. Just go under settings while you are logged on to the camera.

• Read the manual. The cam has adjustable auto shut off settings for low voltage.

• I actually don't run it in parking mode but my buddy is mechanic who installed it said: its not gonna run the battery down in park mode. just make sure don't run it over night.

• You can change the settings on your phone once you download the think ware app. So that once your battery runs down to a certain video lathe, the camera will shut off so that you can still start your vehicle.
