“Will this hardwire to an XJ80 binding post so I can bypass the cigarette lighter?”

• I don't know BUT when I got it installed, it freed up my cigarette lighter and all the wiring is now hidden. The installer got power from the fuse box.

• Hi there, We reccomend installing the hardwiring kit using the fuse box. You can use any fuse as long as one is a constanst source of power and the other is a switched source of power.
