“Will this hardwire to an XJ80 binding post so I can bypass the cigarette lighter?”

I don't know BUT when I got it installed, it freed up my cigarette lighter and all the wiring is now hidden. The installer got power from the fuse box.

Hi there, We reccomend installing the hardwiring kit using the fuse box. You can use any fuse as long as one is a constanst source of power and the other is a switched source of power. We do not recomoend installing the hardwiring kit by splicing the wires together.
