This is in between hard case and a soft case. It is very durable and high quality. Also, it is lined inside. With 2 large pockets.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would consider this a hard case. The exterior is molded in a durable plastic/rubber material. The inside is lined with soft fiber cloth, mesh and elastic/Velcro straps. The exteriors is clearly durable enough to protect my gear from a drop or getting things packed on top of it, it is also flexible enough to that you could overstuff it a bit and still zip it shut. Highly recommend this case for an active, durable hard shell solution.
