You are absolutely correct. Hand written labels fade, and they're also forgotten about, where as the QR labels last years without fade. I bought mine before covid and they're still legible. I travel with a piece of Mind, knowing my property if found will most likely be returned. Also... the label states to scan the code for owners information.
