No it does not record streaming channels whether from other sources of the built in apps. It will show you in your recordings list what streaming episodes are available to watch from the apps built into the Tivo unit. However you will have to be signed into these apps and some episodes may cost you.

I also use it for streaming Netflix, YouTube, etc. I see no need to record the streaming stuff, because it's available 24/7. No need to fill up the hard drive when you can get it on demand.

Please try again later.Yes, besides recording programs from over-the-air broadcast channels, the TiVo BOLT OTA also allows you to watch programs from a variety of streaming services (once you set up subscriptions to them individually). In this sense, it is equivalent to using a ROKU device.
