Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can, and that is what we have done, but we have had very mixed results. Sometimes we get a decent signal, but often we don't, especially if it is windy outside. If you normally get a very strong signal with an inside antenna, you may be fine. The Bolt OTA needs a stronger signal than your tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. We have the TiVo Bolt with just OTA, no cable, have it connected to an indoor antenna in the basement of our house since that is where we have our TV, and use it strictly for recording programs from the antenna. Of course, how well it works depends on how well your antenna receives stations - ours receives all the major networks and a variety of public TV stations. Keep in mind that you pay a monthly fee with TiVo. And that monthly fee is more for a device that accepts both OTA and Cable, than if you have a Tivo Bolt that accepts only OTA.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. That was the main purpose of my purchase.
