“What's the difference between Lifetime Traffic Updates and Real-Time Traffic Updates?”

• Hi there Edward Lifetime maps means a lifetime subscription to maps of USA & Canada on this device. You can keep the maps updated in the MyDrive Connect software on a computer: www.tomtom.com/getstarted This device does not feature the real-time TomTom Traffic (this is known as Live Services), however it can receive Traffic updates via the RDS-TMC signal which picks up congestion via a radio signal. • Lifetime updates mean your device will always be updated with the latest maps. Real time-traffic updates means you will have real-time current traffic conditions while traveling.
