“Does this have to link to your cell phone to get free updates on traffic and maps?”

• Hi there! This device is not compatible with the Live Traffic service that is found on some of our other devices. It is not possible to link your phone to the device in order to use Live Services, unfortunately. You can, however, use the RDS-TMC receiver that is included in the box, for localized Traffic updates that are received by radio waves. Hope that helps! - Cameron at TomTom

• I read that this unit comes with a hookup that accesses live traffic.
