- Answer You do not want it without membership. All that is available is "free lift" mode which does not remember any of your weight history and does not automatically adjust weights as you get stronger. You can read details on what is available without a subscription on knowledge.tonal.com - they have an article on it. But as a user who uses Tonal 5 to 6 days a week (and has had it for 18 months), I will tell you that you absolutely do not want it without the subscription. With the subscription this thing is absolutely amazing and is frankly life changing. It is hard to oversell it as it is just so good.
