“What is the interior top of the microwave like - a smooth surface to clean or an element hanging down like in the Breville? Thinking of ease of cleaning and wiping it out. Also, is the turntable removable so it can be washed?”

The top surface has the convection cooking element hanging down. The turntable is removable. It comes packed separately for purchase shipping and you place it into the microwave before operating.

Interior top has the element hanging down but not in the way for cleaning. The turntable is removable for washing as well as the piece it sits on...the turntable is made of a solid piece of glass...I was very happy with this entire product
