The speakers are of course veneer but the main component is metal. Hope that helps.

Please try again later.Hard plastic....seems durable....good sound system for a bedroom sized room....only problem is the speaker wires are short and fixed into the back of the speaker....if you don’t mind splicing longer wire in to let the speakers go further apart it could fill up a larger room....to bad they didn’t make the wires plug into the speakers...could have just bought and plugged in longer speaker wire...overall a good little system...If ya have and extra set of speakers to plug into the back of the system that would be great...
