First make sure you have the latest firmware version, go Home > Settings > Device & Software > About > Check for System Update. Then, try the Power On feature, press the Home button then go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input. David M. - Toshiba Support

In response to David M, Toshiba support. Thank you. I did all you suggested but the TV still reverts to screen with Home/Settings even though I have last input selected. I guess I'll have to live with it as I see no way to disable the FireTV scroll.
