I hooked up my dvd player to my Toshiba tv using an hdmi cord and the tri color cables(yellow, red and white).You can hear the dvd but there is no picture. Is there another cord I need. null

It might be a setting, sorry I can't help as I don't have a DVD to hook up. Have you tried Googling the question? You might need to select an auxiliary setting. Good Luck

You can only use one of those cables at any time, either AV or HDMI.
