Yes, it has a headphone jack for audio output. However, if you have an analog output plugged in (I have a pair of audioengine speakers), the TV will present you with a menu choice asking whether you want fixed or variable volume every single time you wake the TV up from sleep. The menu choice will go away after about a minute but I find it extremely annoying to have this presented to me avery time I wake the TV up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you look at the enlarged image on the back of the unit there is a headphone symbol and an outlet for a headphone jack. So it must have a headphone jack. It's a negative aspect of many TV's specs that not many of them specify or not if they have headphone jacks. You would think that it would be an obligatory spec since many people want to watch TV privately without disturbing others who may be sleeping or working. It should be a requirement to list if it if electronics/TV's have headphone jacks.
