You can get your subscriptions thru Amazon (if you have an Amazon credit card they would be charged there, not a good idea if you carry a balance.) You can set up your subscriptions outside of Amazon and pay for them some where else ie: bank card, credit card that gets paid off every month. Hope this helps. Not sure how the wifi will be, it depends on how many devices are using it at one time.
