Check to see if the TV powers up after the power goes out, by pulling the plug (when the TV is off) from the wall and then re-inserting it. Some TVs do this by default, others do not, and some have a setting in the menu to control this. If it does power up, your power supply or wall connections may be intermittent, and causing this. ALSO, my power at my home has went out for a couple seconds 3 times in the past month for no reason, and if your TV powers up when first plugged in, this may be what's causing it. (look for digital clocks that were also reset) ;-)
