“How do you keep the tv mode. I have Directv. When I power tv off it brings up the home screen. I want to know how to bypass that and it goes to the direct channels? Also how do you set the color and tint? No info button on remote?”

Try the Power On feature, when enabled, the TV turns on displaying the last used input. To activate it, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input. To change the picture settings long press the Home button and select Picture. David M. - Toshiba Support
