I also have a 2nd gen echo i thought I could use that to control the tv as well. For example Alexa turn the tv on. But o cannot see how to add the tv to my list of Alexa devices and the echo plus will not discover it. Am II doing something wrong? null

To pair an Echo device, use the smartphone Alexa app, go Home > Menu > Settings > Video and TV > Fire TV and follow the on-screen instructions.
