• Use a third party tool (e.g. at Crucial's site) to scan your system to make sure it supports SATA III, or you won't be able to appreciate this drive's potential.

• with laptop Hard Drives you need to look at the thickness of the hard drive. in ultra book I would think it wouldn't fit. but in a full size laptop should have no issues.

• No. This is an EXTERNAL device made to be placed nearby your system. While it has the capacity to replace several of teh Toshiba drives you mention, it cannot be installed in the body of another PC.
