Let me provide more information on this subject. The Toshiba TY-ASC60 does not have a turntable "phono" pre-amplifier built in, it has a line input via a 1/8 stereo connector (similar to a headphone plug). However, if you have a turntable with a built-in pre-amplifier, then it will produce sound loud enough to be amplified thru the line input of the Toshiba TY-ASC60. Old turntables do not have a built-in phono pre-amplifier. Some of the newer turntables have a built-in phono preamplifier, you need to investigate the turntable that you are going to use. On the other hand, you can buy a stand alone turntable pre-amplifier, plug the turntable to the turntable pre-amplifier, and then the pre-amplifier to the Toshiba TY-ASC60.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't hooked it to a turntable personally, but if you use the 1/8" aux port, or blue tooth. It works fine. As for the microphone ports, as inputs, I am not sure.
