I got the laptop and checked. The Celeron is soldered in and there is no socket. I just happened to have a spare i5 lying around and unfortunately will not be able to upgrade. It is fine though, as the Celeron is pretty good for a dual core processor. As a side note, the RAM and HDD were very easy to upgrade.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure why you would want to do that. Leave the proc as-is. It is plenty fast enough. If are a gamer and want more proc speed, just pay more for an i3 or i5 laptop.
