It comes with 3.4 Ghz. That refers to the processor speed in the laptop, and it is not something that can or needs to be upgraded. Essentially, the GHz is how fast the computer thinks. The higher the number (all else being equal), that faster the machine goes. In this case the laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7-4700MQ processor. It's standard speed is up to 2.4 GHz, however, if it thinks it needs a little extra boost for a brief amount of time to do something that requires a lot of speed, it can push itself up to 3.4 Ghz before returning to its normal speed. Please try again later.you have to go: 1. right click battery icon 2. click power options 3. click change plan settings 4. click change advanced power settings 5. processor power management 6. set max to 100% 7. you can set minimum up but not necessarily need to, will waste battery life (otherwise the GHz will jump up and down to match workload)
