Hi Sky, No. A Gigabit Ethernet switch does not split or reduce speed just because multiple devices are connected. Each device gets its own full speed connection. While your total Internet "pie" is shared, speeds are usually only impacted when both devices are using the internet heavily at the same time and hit the limit of your internet plan or router, not because of the switch itself. Generally, online gaming on two systems simultaneously shouldn't require so much data that it affects your overall experience.
