• Hi stratton, Although this TP-Link USB Wi-Fi adapter has Wi-Fi 6 technology and features, it is also backward-compatible with previous Wi-Fi protocols and generations, such as Wi-Fi 5.

• Yes it will. I run a lot of old stuff and the old 11Mb 2.4 GHz works fine with this.
