Hi JayY, The optimal placement of the extender depends on several key factors, including, but not limited to, the floor plan and construction of your home and other factors such as your router's location and how far its signal currently reaches. Additionally, the extender should be placed where the router's signal is sufficiently stable yet far enough from it to provide additional coverage in the Wi-Fi dead zones within your home.
