I have a 2-floor home that has kind of a long and skinny layout. It's about 2000 sq. ft, but nowhere near that is actually usable space. I started with the two pack -- one downstairs and one upstairs, and ended up adding a third to boost the signal at one end of the house. That probably wasn't 100% necessary, but now the whole house is covered and some of the backyard too. I've set up countless routers & wi-fi networks over the years. This was hands down the easiest install I've ever had and the performance has been excellent. I upgraded our internet plan back in March because with everyone doing virtual learning and online meetings, we needed more bandwidth. There was some improvement with my previous router, which was about 3 years old. When I installed the Deco, the bandwidth available more than doubled. My only complaint is that there is no wall mounting option, so you have to be a bit creative if you'd rather have this on the wall than on a shelf/table top. If you've had your router for a long time, my guess is that you'll see a big jump in performance and be quite happy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Deco M9 Plus 2-Pack is designed to provide connectivity for up to 4,500 square feet. This may be excessive for your coverage needs. A single Deco Mesh WiFi unit, or one of our new WiFi 6 (802.11ax) routers may be a more suitable solution for your apartment environment.
