“Description says that you can monitor the current but I don't see that on the box. Is it inside of the app? and is this plug (mini) capable of doing that?”

• The HS105 Smart Plug Mini does not provide energy monitoring. For energy monitoring features, please instead consider the HS110 Smart Plug, or our HS300 Smart WiFi Power Strip. Regards, TP-Link Support

• In the app it'll give you a runtime breakdown so you know how often the lights are on that are plugged into unit.

• I could not find out how to monitor the usage myself. It does say that you have the capability to do that, but could not find out where.

• Yes, tot can minitor how much eletricity a device is using. Toy do it in the smart thingdms app. Press the small lighting bolt symbol is upper right hand corner after selecting the plug in the App.
