Hi! This Kasa Smart Plug is designed for indoor use only, and has the following environmental specifications: Operating Temperature: 0 ºC ~ 40 ºC (32°F ~ 104°F) Operating Humidity: 5%~90%RH, Non-condensing
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.105 degrees could be pushing it. I would think that if they were in a shaded area underneath your patio that the actual temperature there would be lower than in direct sunlight. I also live in Tucson and am using these to control lights on my back patio, no issues so far. Attached photo say’s operating temperature ranges from 32 F to 104 F. So depending on how hot it gets it could hit that upper limit and pose issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would probably go with the TP-Link - Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug - Black instead. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tp-link-kasa-smart-wi-fi-outdoor-plug-black/6341148.p?skuId=6341148
