After you download the free Kasa app to your phone, you can discover and access the Smart Spot camera. I have been using the Kasa app on my Android phone and iPad for over a year to access and control their Smartplugs (love them!) and recently purchased and added my first Smart Spot camera. Through their app I can turn camera on/off, enable/disable motion alerts, view the camera live, receive motion alerts and view the motion triggered video -- from anywhere. Camera has excellent quality and works great.
