- Answer Yes, for free only 48 hours worth then it deletes and starts over but you can also save recorded/or screenshot videos

QuestionI want to use this for outside security, does it have to be plugged in outside?

- Answer I would not put this device outside in the elements. The camera requires power and also needs to connect to your WiFi. The outside elements will not be good for the camera or the power cord & transformer. I have one of the cameras set up inside the house and overlooking the driveway. During the day the video quality is very good even through a window. At night as long as there is outside lighting the video quality is fine, but in black & white.

- Answer The Kasa Spot Indoor (KC100) utilizes 2.4GHz WiFi for connectivity. Most routers that support 5GHz will also support 2.4GHz. However, if you would prefer dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) solution, we suggest considering our KC120 Kasa Cam Indoor. Regards, TP-Link Support

- Answer Yes if you turn the camera on in the app it will automatically record when motion is detected and you can see all recorded nothing in the activity portion of the app and also you can manually record also .

- Answer Yep you can see in real time what’s going on. And they save 24hrs of footage for you and you can access through app or pc. It should do exactly what you need it to do.

QuestionCan this be mounted to a wall? Does it come with screws? The description says WIRELESS....so since you have to keep it plugged in it's not fully wireless correct?

- Answer Yes it does come with screws and also plastic anchors and a template. It is wireless in that it connects to wifi so that you can view the live images on your phone. However it does need to be plugged in for the power.
