• No, this is a WiFi extender which is designed to improve WiFi coverage in your home. It does not affect your Cable signal from your Cable TV provider. If you are experiencing Cable TV issues, please contact your Cable TV provider.

• It is possible. It depends on whether the problem with the tv reception has to do with the Wi-Fi signal strength at the location of the tv. If that is the problem, then the extender can be placed somewhere between the router and the tv so that the Wi-Fi strength at the tv is stronger, and that will improve the tv reception.
