There are 3 methods to set up the extender. I tried with the wps button, it did a factory reset. The best was to use the 3rd method, didn’t try the second one. Easy to set up and you have a booklet.

Your computer will need to connect to the extender either via WiFi or Ethernet, and then you can configure the extender to connect to and extend your router's WiFi signal. You can also use the TP-Link Tether app on your smartphone to conveniently set up the extender.
