• If you are referring to using the cell phone as the Internet source (i.e. hotspot mode), it may work; however this will depend on the method your phone uses to distribute WiFi in hotspot mode. If you are instead referring to whether or not this device can expand WiFi coverage from your router over a greater distance within your home and for your WiFi devices (i.e. your phone), it can.
