Hi Johnny, Currently I have a phone, a desktop, and 2 laptops connected all times to my internet and extender. Additionally, the desktop and the other 2 laptops are upstairs in my room over the garage and the connectivity was a little weak and the extender has helped greatly. My nephew recently connected his PlayStation console to it and hasn't had any issues. I hope this helps.

Please try again later. If your WiFi connection is from a shared WiFi router, and not a separate WiFi router within your apartment unit, a WiFi extender may not be the ideal solution. A WiFi extender's primary role is to increase the coverage distance of your existing WiFi signal, therefore it will simply repeat the quality of signal it receives from your original source, just over a longer distance. Furthermore, WiFi extenders operate using half-duplex transmission, which may further impact throughput and latency. That being said, one option to consider may be to set up the extender to receive your original WiFi source, then plug your console directly into the extender's Ethernet port. If the extender receives a better signal than your console, this may potentially yield a better online experience; however the primary elements your existing network environment will ultimately determine the outcome. With any of my devices (Tv, game consoles, pc, laptop). But my roommate would constantly drop connection or only had 1 bar. Spectrum sent a tech and nothing could be figured out, and since it’s part of the apartment’s rent bundle, spectrum did not offer a second modem or anything to help the situation. They recommended google home extenders but I found this so I decided to buy it. It made a huge difference. Connection is always 5 bars. And for the price, a steal! You should try it.
