- Answer No, these smart plugs connect via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. That being said, most Wi-Fi routers that support 5 GHz connectivity also support 2.4 GHz (also known as "dual-band") connectivity. Please refer to your router's documentation to verify whether it supports 2.4 GHz connectivity.

- Answer Yes, tap 'schedule' in the Tapo app to add turn on/off times. You can even choose certain days to run your schedule or choose 'sunrise' and or 'sunset' as your turn on/off times.

- Answer No it isn’t. The only thing you can get it to do outside of ordinary WiFi is that you can use it on a matter ecosystem.
