- Answer No it isn’t. The only thing you can get it to do outside of ordinary WiFi is that you can use it on a matter ecosystem.

QuestionHas anyone else experienced this issue where it will link to your Apple home but then after about a month of use it disconnected and will no longer connect back to the app. The company replaced the product for me and it still does not connect.

- Answer This sounds like it might be a concern with Apple working as the Matter Controller. We would recommend reaching out to Apple to troubleshoot their device, acting as the matter controller, usually the HomePod, and see if there is a communication issue there. If not reach back out to TP-Link support so engineering can be involved.

- Answer No, these smart plugs connect via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. That being said, most Wi-Fi routers that support 5 GHz connectivity also support 2.4 GHz (also known as "dual-band") connectivity. Please refer to your router's documentation to verify whether it supports 2.4 GHz connectivity.
