QuestionWhat's the connectivity reliability between the phone app and the cameras? What could disrupt the connection?

- Answer The connectivity is the same as with any wireless 2.4GHz connection. Disruption would be caused by lost of servier or interference but that would be no different than with any wireless/cloud communication. As long as you have a stable and strong network you should not have any problems with the cameras.

QuestionAm i correct in saying that this does not come with a hub, and if i wanted to avoid cloud storage, i would need an sd card in each removable camera?

- Answer Hi DCbos, That is correct. A hub is not included or required. For local storage, each camera can support a Micro SD card (not included) with a capacity of up to 512 GB.

QuestionIs there any way that I can connect this to my laptop? If not, and if I get a video of a burglar, I really want to save it as an mp4 to share with police and friends. Can I copy it to my laptop using Windows 11?

- Answer They don't use a hub or anything so you can have as many as you want. You just add the cameras as a new device in the software and they are attached to your wifi network.

- Answer I did not see a way to connect these cameras to a dedicated screen. Only via app. I also have not yet found a way to monitor them via a web browser.

- Answer Our MagCam connect directly to your home's 2.4 GHz network. They do not require a hub as they wireless and not Sub-G. You do have the option, if you have a Tapo H200 hub, to record to the local storage of the hub. In the US the Hub comes with the Tapo C400S1/C400S2 or the Tapo C420S1/C420S2. If you don't have the hub the cameras can still record locally via a MicroSD card.

QuestionWhat size is the threading on the mount? I need to buy a wall bracket and need the threading size to be able to correctly screw in a wall mount (I am told tp-link/tapo do not offer this heavy duty mount anymore).

- Answer A mount along with the screws and anchors come with the camera. the screw holes for the mount use 6mm screws.

- Answer Hi Cbbb, Without Internet connectivity, the camera's live view will not be accessible remotely. However, if the camera and your smartphone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, even without the Internet, you should be able to view and manage the camera locally via the Tapo app.
